FAQ'S

What is sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin is a skin type that reacts to products or the environment by becoming itchy, red or dry. It can be sore to the touch and may be unable to tolerate chemical ingredients or very strong skin care products, even natural ones.

How to know if you have sensitive skin?

If you find that your skin reacts to products that you use, or extremes of temperature or weather by becoming inflamed, itchy, red or extremely dry, you likely have sensitive skin.

How often to exfoliate sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin needs the same exfoliation as all skin types to encourage healthy cell turnover and remove dead skin, it just needs to be done more carefully and with gentle products. A physical cream exfoliator used once or twice a week is enough. Avoid strong chemical exfoliators.

Is hyaluronic acid good for sensitive skin?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound that already exists within the skin so for most people, including those with sensitive skin it will be tolerated well, however it is always wise to patch test if you have a history of reactivity.
