"I am quite disappointed in the perfume version of Monarch. This one smells a bit like clove oil given that the patchouli comes on too strong. I guess that as it slowly gives in, it might turn out better but I will personally stick to the eau de toilette version because in my opinion it is well balanced and actually lasts long."
