Bakuchiol is a vegan skin care ingredient comparable to the skincare superstar retinol. While not a member of the retinoid family, studies show that Bakuchiol is able to regulate skin cell behaviour in a similar way to retinol. It is a potent antioxidant, visibly reduces skin discolourations from environmental exposure and has a pronounced soothing effect on skin. Bakuchiol can also reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Bakuchiol is comparable to retinol in its ability to improve photoaging and is better tolerated than retinol.
Hibiscus Oligopeptide [100% natural Okra fruit peptides] is rich in oligopeptides, which are a group of up to twenty peptides. This oligopeptide uses the latest technology of plant based science to produce a topical, gentle alternative to drastic procedures, actively targeting expression lines. Clinical studies show an inhibition of muscle cell contraction to slow biological ageing via anti-oxidant properties over the course of three weeks.
